Blessings Come in Many Forms

Blessings come in many forms. It is up to you to accept or deny them. They can come from the animals around you, from your family, or any of an assortment of angels on earth or in spirit. When I share things from the side of the Great Spirit with you, my intent is to have each of you feel invigorated and loved. Regardless of how you carry yourself through life, those of us on the other side will usher love and protection to you. Of course, if you opt to live life in the way of spiritual principles, you make our job much easier. If you choose to do it in ways that are less magnificent, do not worry. We will still love you, but we will forever try to reform your thinking.

When I lived on the earth plane, I had a lifetime filled with deprivation. Some of you may feel lost without one of your gadgets, but we sacrificed warmth in the winter, and sometimes many of us went hungry for days. Our blend of humanity was to keep huddled together. This closeness might be unbearable for some of you. For us, it was a way of survival. It helped the family to bond. Being somewhat rebellious, I would suggest it to the fair ones that I had interest in. That attempt to bond was never received too well by their fathers and guardians.

My point is that too many people have become lost when it comes to feeling the Great Spirit’s love through the huddled masses. Instead, some have attitudes that suggest a dislike and an embracing of muddled masses. Life does not need to be complicated. It needs to be appreciated. It is your responsibility to share your love and shed your light on others. It is not to extinguish happiness and shed responsibility. Lessons for your soul come in numerous ways but they can generally be more uplifting when you embrace the efforts of love and simplicity. Start by loving yourself, and then spiral it outward.

The reason I chose this topic is to get all of you to understand that as you march forward you will undoubtedly have to deal with different obstacles. Each one is not meant to deter you from enjoying life. Many of the challenges you face actually make your soul grow in great strength. There is a healing that has taken place tonight. It was my responsibility to lift much of the negativity within your bodies so that your pains would be removed and your fears would be depleted. Your minds, your thoughts, your attitudes and ultimately your actions are what will lead you to the path of roses.

I have used that flower for a couple of reasons. It is symbolic of love and friendship. It is also something that almost every person sees as a thing of beauty. It protects itself through thorny and spiny ways. It does this because no matter how delicate it is it will seem like it is vulnerable to attack. Some of you have had to endure more than others. For those who have not lost hope, and who have instead gained desire, I want to thank you. The reason I am thanking you is because if I show my gratitude to your efforts, you will continue to work hard on trying to lift yourself to an even better place.

The lifetime I spoke of was full of drought and flood. It was full of illnesses, both in the water and airborne. It decimated most of my family, and most of my friends passed into spirit well before their time. Society today generally has enough safety checks so that you will never have to endure that. It is part of the process of life. The more people evolve and the more they share their intelligence, the easier it becomes to add on to it. Items that may have been horrific centuries ago have no power.

Having no power for a person is a helpless and daunting feeling. All of you have a strength that goes much deeper into your hearts and souls then you might realize. I mentioned previously that you should seek out or be part of the angels on earth, as well as in spirit. That is because some of you who follow and abide by a path of spirituality often overlook the gifts given by those in spirit to you in the form of fellow beings. If you study the people that you hang out with, that you surround yourself with, then you will find that your vibration matches theirs. If you decide that you are struggling too much, it is frequently because those around you are also in the same situation. I am not telling you to depart from all of your friends; I am telling you to add to them. It is your right and destiny to be part and parcel of those who can encourage you and can lift you up. These are The Spoken Words of Spirit.

Friendship

The glory of friendship is not the outstretched hand, Nor the kindly smile nor the joy of companionship; it is the spiritual inspiration that comes to one when they discover that someone else believes in them and is willing to trust them.

Listening is an essential part of communication,

Written by  Joanne Wellington Copyright © 2010,2015 All Rights Reserved.

Listening to the world around you is not often a skill that is consciously practiced. Nevertheless, it is a skill that is definitely worth cultivating. Active and engaged listening can help you to better understand other people, the interactions of society and the world around you. The more you listen, the more you learn.

Listening is an essential part of communication, and it is different from hearing. Being a good and patient listener helps you not only solve many problems at work or home, but also to see the world through the eyes of others, thereby opening your understanding and enhancing your capacity for empathy. In addition, you learn a lot from listening. As simple as listening to and acknowledging other people may seem, doing it well, particularly when disagreements arise, takes sincere effort and lots of practice.

Thought for the day

To live content with small means, to seek elegance rather than luxury, and refinement rather than fashion, to be worthy, not respectable, and wealthy, not rich, to study hard, think quietly, talk gently, act frankly, to listen to stars and birds, to babies and sages, with open heart, to bear all cheerfully, do all bravely, await occasions, hurry never, in a word to let the spiritual, unbidden and unconscious, grow up through the common, this is to be my symphony.”
