How to Stay Grounded

As a clairvoyant and healer, I understand the importance of grounding myself on a regular basis. When you possess the ability read energy from a higher conscious place, it’s so easy for your soul to automatically transition into Spirit. In other words, you want to be in the place where you are channeling Energy. Yet, we live on Earth so we must remain present here in our daily lives.

So what are the symptoms of not being grounded? Here are just a few that you might identify with:

  • Feeling like your head is in the clouds
  • Difficulty concentrating
  • Forgetting things often
  • Losing track of time
  • Not living in the Present.
  • Feeling constantly in worry mode
  • Being accident prone
  • Frequent mood swings.
  • Avoiding life by excessively sleeping, reading, video games, drinking, TV etc..
  • Feeling drained by other people

Here are a few tips that will keep you grounded, and make you feel like you’re on planet Earth once again:

Complete a Grounding Exercise

When you wake up every morning, place your feet on the ground, and imagine the roots of a tree, wrapping around the tops of your feet and going to the center of the core of the earth. You may also repeat this several times a day or simply say the words “Grounded” out loud or in your mind. My feet always tingle when I do this.

Eat earthy foods.

Avoid processed foods whenever possible eat whole grains,  vegetable proteins such as legumes, root vegetables, minerals like calcium and iron., and red coloured foods that activate your root chakra.

Breathe!

This may be obvious but so many people hold their breath when they are stressed out. Take several time a day to take several deep breaths, and allow the oxygen to flow into every cell of your body. You will feel revived and refreshed.

Take a Hot Bath or Shower.

After an emotionally draining day, take a hot bath and sprinkle some epsom salts. Water itself is purifying and the sea salts work to detoxify all of the accumulated negative energies that you have gathered throughout your day. Always rinse the salt off of your body before you get out. If you are showering, sprinkle some epsom salts onto your lufa, and imagine all of the negative energy going down the drain.

Be with Nature

Nature is one of the most powerful healing agents in the world. Spend time with the forest, ocean, rivers and mountain peaks. Nature’s energy is incredibly healing. Have you ever leaned up against a tree and felt the energy of the tree healing you? Mother Nature has the ability to repair the cells in your body. It’s such a gift and it’s right outside your door!

Extra Tip: For an even stronger grounding and healing connection to the Earth, take your shoes and socks off.

Remember that we all need to stay grounded in order to live a happy and productive life.

Clearing Negative Energy From Healing Crystals

Healing crystals and minerals are a  lot like rechargeable batteries. The crystal, whether it be on your shelf, in a  crystal grid, or hanging from your earlobes, has absorbed massive amounts of  negative energy and the energy of everything else that has gone on around it.

This wears down the effectiveness of the crystal’s healing energies. You  eventually have to clear the collected negative energy from the crystal or  mineral and then recharge or reprogram it. There are several methods of doing  this and they are all simple.

FairyTree1. Rinse the crystal or stone under running water and then leave in the sun  for a few hours. Be aware that the color in some crystals can fade if left too  long in the sun.

2. Bury your crystals and minerals in earth, in a filled flower pot or in your garden. Be sure to mark the spot so  you don’t forget where you buried them! Leave the stones for a few days and then  dig them out. Gently brush off the dirt. Your crystals and minerals are now  humming with beneficial Earth energy.

3. You could clean the stones in a bowl of salt water. Be careful not to  leave your stones in the salt water for too long as salt can degrade crystals  and minerals.

Here’s a tip: Try soaking yourself in a salt bath after a stressful day. By  this I mean empty an entire carton of table salt into a hot bath. Soak in the saltwater bath for  several minutes. Do not soap up! Just soak. Afterward shower and wash as you  normally do. You will emerge from that shower feeling reborn because the salt  cleaned the negative energy from your physical and energy bodies. Try it! I  guarantee you will be amazed at how much better you feel afterward.

4. Using sound is another effective method of clearing negative energy from  crystals and minerals. Sound waves are highly effective in clearing negative  energy from crystals, minerals, and entire rooms. If you play an instrument then  set your crystals and minerals close to the instrument while you play  (preferably not a screaming electric guitar!).

If you do not play an instrument then try playing gentle music on your  stereo, wind chimes, or a tuning fork. You could place your crystals and  minerals inside a glass bowl, wet your finger, and then run your finger along  the rim of the bowl to make it tone. Do this for 2 to 5 minutes, or the length  of the average song.

Clear your crystals and minerals at least once a month to keep them emitting  strong healing energies.

Thought is energy. Intent is energy. When you think of an intention you  create energy, and that energy is absorbed by your crystals and minerals. This  is how you will program your crystals or minerals for their intended  purpose.

After clearing your crystals and minerals hold each crystal or mineral in  your hands and think to yourself the reason you use it. If you use the stone as  protection against EMF emissions then think, “I intend to use this crystal as  protection against EMF emissions”. If you use, say, amethyst to help your mind  to focus and to remain calm then think, “I intend to use this amethyst to help  my mind to focus and to remain calm”.

That’s it!Try to clean and recharge your crystal and mineral “batteries” at  least once a month.

Mother Nature has provided us with tools we can use to protect ourselves  from, well, ourselves, and some of those tools are right at our feet. These  tools, though, need care to keep working to the best of their ability. Clearing  and programming your crystals and minerals is an essential process as simple as  a thought intention.

Mother Nature, Mother Earth , Tragedies.

Just look at the tragedies that are happening Japans Earthquake being one of them.

Mother Nature, Mother Earth . . . terms we use so frequently, but do we fully understand and embrace the meaning behind these words . .

Earth is a very important part of our lives. Most of us wouldn’t think of polluting our bodies would we?, yet we are polluting our planet by misuse and overuse of our natural resources. As responsible individuals we should at least do what we can to help reduce, reuse, and recycle what we can as a first step.

We are not completely to blame; we inherited a polluted Earth, but we can do something to ensure that our children can grow up in a cleaner, safer planet than ourselves. Don’t ever let someone get away with saying “what can I do, I am only one person”. Each and every person can do a lot, and you can influence others to do something as well.

I  want to try something new there are thousands of people that visit this site but yet very rarely leave a comment which is a shame as the more comments and views put forwards the more inspiring or interesting it can get.

Instead of me putting a row of tips on what we can do to help make mother earth a better and safer planet…. Iwant to ask “you the viewers” to leave a tip of your own in the comment box about what we could do to help our planet so other viewers can also read and be inspired… it would be bitterly disappointing to see no comments at all. So anyone that does leave a posting wow for caring about our planet and wow for taking part.
